I work with and am part of two amazing organizations … the National Writing Project (nwp.org … on staff) as well as Philly’s own Spiral Q (spiralq.org … volunteer and board member) … both of which have me interacting with educators from across the country, both inside and outside of school

My current NWP work is directing the Digital Is project supported by the MacArthur Foundation’s Digital Media and Learning Initiative (see digitalis.nwp.org).

My interests sit at the intersections of arts, literacy, community building, social justice, learning and change. I recently returned to formal schooling too … you can read more about some of what I am doing on that front at seecantrill.tumblr.com.
